About Me
Hi, I'm Jennifer Eckard, I have been sewing since I was a young girl. I started sewing with counted cross stitch and then moved to hand quilting panels for pillowcases I tried my hand at garment making but was not very successful maybe one day I will get to take some classes! But about fifteen years ago I tried my hand at making a quilt and I fell in love! Like most quilters, I began watching videos and started honing my craft.
Quilting as an obsession is not an inexpensive hobby as my husband will tell you! He jokes with me that every time I send my sewing machine in to get served I come home with a new one! However, I really love to see the faces of the people I give my quilts to. I love to see them light up because there is nothing like giving a gift that is hand made and personal.

I found a quilt in mother’s closet. Jennifer chose the back color. When I sent it to them, it was just the top, no batting or back. I’m going to get it back and keep it!!
